“A Victorian pub/hotel set within a quiet London district in striking distance of south, west and central London. Clean and well-appointed rooms lend themselves to a comfortable stay. The bar and restaurant next door serve up traditional and hearty food and drinks, all for a reasonable price.”

Hotel review

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, owned by Youngs. A traditional Victorian pub in style with a busy rectangular bar and a separate dining area. The hotel has it's own reception and courtyard and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and colourful as well as being generoous in size. They include a radio, TV (complete with Sky), iPod docks, Nespresso machine and plenty of snacks. The en-suite bathrooms are large, some being wet rooms, with Bramley products others having bath with showers. We'd recommend the garden suite which consists of two rooms and a garden. The food in the restaurant is typical pub fare with a great snack menu and the breakfast is excellent (not included in the price). The bar serves up a wide selection of beers and wines and guest ales are on offer from the local Sambrooks Brewery & Twickenham Ales. All in all a great option for a stay in this part of town. NB. Do not turn up earlier than 2pm as you won't be able to check in before then.
