A relative newcomer to the ski hotel landscape, reopening after a thorough renovation in 2015, The Alpina landed cleanly on its feet with a ranking among the top 150 hotels in Switzerland. Tucked away in the Alpine village of Tschiertschen, the resort offers door-to-slope access with modern four-seater chairlifts and ski lifts. The slopes offer guaranteed and natural snow across all pistes, with opportunities for snowboarding and sledging as well as mountain biking. The gourmet restaurant La Belle Époque offers the best of Swiss fine dining with options for Asian speciality dishes, while the exclusive Tropaios Lounge has a more contemporary and adventurous menu. The Shan Spa is one of the highlights of the resort, complete with three saunas, outdoor hot tub and steam bath. The hoteliers have left no stone unturned in making this a dream Alpine retreat.
