“An upscale hotel, set in a historic clocktower, near Madison Square Park. Luxurious rooms and suites feature fur throws, sweeping vistas of the Manhattan skyline and large bathrooms with rainfall showers. More of an adult-vibe offering a tranquil spa, cocktail bar and a Michelin-star restaurant. ”

Hotel Review
From your first glimpse of the imposing landmark 1909 clocktower this swish hotel is housed within — it was once the world’s tallest building — to the spacious, minimalist lobby/lounge with its striking modern fireplace and glitzy cocktail bar, you know you’re in for a treat staying here. Top-notch facilities including a restaurant overseen by a Michelin-starred chef, a charming billiard room, gym and spa, coupled with light and airy guest rooms with a neutral decor add to the comfort. With a great location by tranquil Madison Square Park near the Flatiron Building and Union Square, it’s a great base for exploring neighbourhoods such as Gramercy, Chelsea and the Garment District.

The New York EDITION
The New York EDITION, set in the 1909 Met Life clocktower, impresses from the get-go. Re-imagined by Ian Schrager, this Marriott-owned hotel features elegant interiors, a favourable Midtown address alongside Madison Square Park, and a phenomenal restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton.

The New York EDITION
The Edition is a couple hundred dollars less than the luxury mainstays you'd find further uptown, but it's just as comfortable.
