For an elegant stay in the heart of fashionable Madison Avenue, The Roger is hard to beat. It has recently been renovated and the rooms and suites are stylish and cool with luxurious features including 100% Egyptian cotton bed linens and comfy beds - some even have a private balcony or terrace. They are also a good size, which can not often be said of city centre properties. The lobby doubles as a bar and bistro which is a busy, relaxed space with capacious sofas, exposed brick walls adorned with previously unseen photos of celebrities, and people constantly dropping in for coffees or cocktails! The staff are also a huge asset here - friendly and helpful. For a spot on location with smart accommodation close to the Empire State Building and Grand Central, and just steps from the Flatiron District, it's a no-brainer!
