“The Slaughters Manor House is beautiful, but relaxed and unstuffy with it. The 19 rooms are all different, some featuring four-poster beds and stand alone baths, some with bold wallpaper and colourful fabrics, so consider a few before you make your choice. The restaurant serves gourmet meals.”

Hotel Review
The reception is "opulent" and "gently lit", greeted by staff with a "friendly professionalism", all key elements to a "relaxed, unstuffy country house break". Enjoy gourmet meals at the Sixteen58 restaurant, or toddle down to the other hotel in the village if you're staying for more than one night. The rooms themselves exude an atmosphere of "warmth and romanticism", almost "elegant hedonism". They are certainly spacious, and luxuriously furnished. Head outdoors to play tennis on the hotel's courts, croquet on the lawn, fish in the local river or explore the countryside on bikes. Walk down Copse Hill Road, voted the Most Romantic Street in 2011.
