People come to this family-owned luxury hotel in the foothills north of Treviso because they have been utterly charmed by Giovanni Zanon de Marchi and are returning to see him, or because they are serious about wine. This is Prosecco country and Sig. Zanon will organise tastings at the most interesting producer’s properties. In fact there is practically noting he won’t do to please. The hotel has a fine restaurant too. Décor is a bit 1980’s (broad striped wallpaper) but who minds that when there are thoughtful touches like the bowl of perfect strawberries in your room and the courtyard is so pretty?
