“A family-friendly hotel with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean. Interiors are contemporary throughout. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden floors, and minimalist furniture. With two Cornish restaurants, three pools, a spa, and plenty of activities - this is a real crowd-pleaser.”

Hotel review

Perched high on a hill above the secluded and pretty Mawgan Porth, this scandi style hotel from the 1950’s is a distinctly family hotel with an impressive creche, arts and crafts activities, kids club, and family rooms, a family villa and an apartment. The large spa area includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, steam room and sauna, and there’s a sensory spa garden, which needs to be booked in advance, that follows a Nordic spa theme and includes seven different stages of temperature. Although it’s certainly a family hotel, the Bedruthan does also cater for couples. As well as the bookable spa garden, there’s a restaurant that only allows children over the age of five and doesn’t provide high chairs, while the other restaurant, the ‘café’, does. With wall-to-wall views out to sea, both restaurants, and the bar with a wrap-around terrace, make dining and drinking a real pleasure.
