“Located in the Gran Paradiso National Park this seemingly traditional chalet exceeds expectations. Enjoying stunning views, state of the art spa and home to a michelin starred restaurant. Rooms utilise local materials with lots of exposed wood, traditional Alpine decor and sumptuous copper baths. ”

Hotel review

If it's not broke don't fix it should be the mantra of the Bellevue hotel and spa chain. Each hotel in their growing portfolio focusses on seductive scenery and experiential spas and their Aosta Valley property is no exception. With far-reaching views across the St. Orso Plateau, hidden in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park and a 1200m² wellness centre you could quite literally get lost in. There is an eclectic array of restaurants to choose from but the Michelin starred Bellevue restaurant, head chef Fabio's baby, is a must. The menu changes daily and simple, traditional dishes are transformed into aesthetic masterpieces. Sample the best in local produce in the Cheese and Wine Cellars and al-fresco dining in the Kitchen Garden or The Terrace. Rooms are a similar blend of Alpine beauty with five star luxury. Using locally sourced materials the decor is synonymous with the surrounding region. Sink into your giant four poster bed, copper or wooden baths - both equally as inviting. It is the palatial spa that truly steals the show and following a gargantuan extension it has been doubled in size. Featuring two jet-powered pools, five saunas, a hammam, ice and salt caves as well as a spa menu so extensive you will need to book a return trip before you can experience all treatments on offer. Down to earth wellbeing and five star luxury at its best.
