“Discreet retreat on a sleepy hillside hamlet with beautiful panoramic views. Double rooms and two private apartments are available for couples wanting a comfortable, peaceful getaway midway between Toulouse, Albi and Carcassonne. For people who want something low-key with delicious food.”

Hotel review

Perched atop a hill, the approach to this charming hideaway is dramatic and the views from it stretch out over a delightful terraced garden to the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees beyond. Seclusion and relaxation are guaranteed along with the convivial company of the warm and welcoming hosts. The characterful rooms are individually and thoughtfully decorated in traditional style with antique finds and eclectic art adorning the walls. A meander through the magical grounds leads down a path of stone steps to a refreshing saltwater pool. For 16 years, Philippe and Andonis have been successfully running this popular retreat where guests return year after year. Andonis is a culinary wizard producing delicious, innovative dishes with locally sourced ingredients including delicious organic homegrown vegetables. After dinner, guests are treated to mellifluous entertainment as the chef takes to the piano and serenades the clientele with Philippe. Early booking is advised.
