“Gastronomic treats are in store at this luxury five-star country retreat. The interiors exude understated elegance with beautiful furniture, paintings, and neutral tones. The surrounding vineyards produce wonderful wines to go with award-winning cuisine. A spoiling retreat.”

Hotel review

Living up to its five stars and Relais & Châteaux mark, Hostellerie de la Plaisance symbolizes luxury living. Overlooking vineyards, the hotel is in the heart of Bordeaux’s wine-growing region, which is clear from a peek into its cellar where more than 700 bottles, half from local vineyards, are housed. The 17 rooms and four suites are all comfortable, spacious and elegantly decorated with opulent furnishings and real attention to detail, yet the hotel is remarkably relaxed and peaceful. Award-winning French chef Philippe Etchebest prepares excellent food, which guests enjoy in the beautiful high-ceilinged dining room.
