The Sport-Lodge offers excellent, immaculately clean, functional accommodation, it’s not fancy but neither are the prices. Beds are more than comfortable and have good quality fresh linen, plenty of cupboard space and most come with a balcony. In addition to the 19 rooms there are also three apartments making it ideal for groups of friends or families. The pièce de la resistance at the Sport-Lodge is the large room with an open fire at the top of the chalet with panoramic views of the mountains and village. Breakfast is served here and an honesty box for all day coffee and tea and drinks in the evening. Breakfast which is included comes with hilarious Mr & Mrs Felt boiled egg cosies, bircher muesli, creamed honey from Klosters, home made jam, fresh bread, cold meats, cheese, in fact, everything to set you up for a day walking, skiing, biking etc.The adjoining games room is a children’s paradise with miniature tables, chairs, shop, farm, Brio and Lego and other games. Being only 10 minutes from the centre there are plenty of restaurants from pizza bars to fine dining within a short stretch and you can even book half board at the nearby restaurant for a supplement.
