Just 12-rooms, Leeu House, the Leeu Collection's smallest hotel, has a very intimate feel. There's no restaurant as such, but a fabulous breakfast of eggs, bacon, salmon, sausages, and almost any pastry a person could want for, is served in the sunny conservatory. Guests can also dine in one of the hotel chain's several restaurants, namely Marigold, Tuk-tuk, whilst dinner reservations at Le Petite Colombe are a must. There's an inviting pool, which sparkles on a sunny Cape Town afternoon, inviting guests to wallow. Even more enticing is the evening drinks service. Rooms are large, and decorated in muted hues with decorative fabrics. Local artists are celebrated in the in-room art and grand bronze statues in the gardens. A slightly more affordable option than Leeu Collection's other properties, yet the same expert level of service and hospitality is afforded throughout. A boutique stay of the highest order.
