Located in a quiet and natural setting in the valley of the medieval village of Saint-Paul de Vence, Orion Treehouses B&B offers one of the most unique bed-and-breakfast experiences on the Côte d'Azur or indeed France. Open from mid-April to mid-October the four eco-friendly treehouses can sleep up to 14 guests (12 adults and 2 children), great for a family get together or just as a couple for a few nights away to escape. Plump pillows and French linen adorn the beds, some of which are four posters. Couples might like to book Shere Khan which is hidden away at the edge of the woods and has a teak bath.

There isn't much space inside the rooms for large suitcases so pack carefully but the reward is plenty of space outside.

There's a 2 night minium stay during the autumn with arrivals on Mondsay, Wednesday, Fridays or Sundays, except if you want to stay on a Sunday night. During July and August arrivals and departures are always on a Monday or a Friday.

The food is delicious and vegetarian and served on a large communcal table by the natural eco-pool. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby including the famous La Colombe d'Or in Saint Paul de Vence which is a must and where booking is essential. Yoga classes, massage and sauna can all be added to your stay if you're after some downtime and relaxation.
