“Relais San Giuliano is an all-singing, all-dancing pocket rocket, small but perfectly formed with 12 rooms, a spa, infinity pool and restaurant 'I Palici' serving mouth-watering Sicilian dishes. Great for all the family. Just a few miles from Catania it's within easy reach of the airport.”

Hotel review

This charming 12 room boutique hotel in Etna, Sicily is spread across several buildings including an ancient millstone. Privately-owned, the relais is meticulously run and welcomes guests of all ages. There are 9 rooms and 4 suites to choose from, all are air-conditioned and have contemporary en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms have a canopy bed, others have a working fireplace. The family suite sleeps up to 4 people. The "Sabbia Nera" Wellness & Spa offers the perfect respite from the rigmarole of every day life. Restore your sense of wellbeing in the hammam or Jacuzzi before totally switching off with a pampering massage. The Relais's infinity pool is surrounded by the lush garden, an ideal place to relax and have a snooze. If you're a foodie you'll love the restaurant 'I Palici' which offers a modern take on traditional Sicilian dishes and its cellar is home to over 150 local and international fine wines. The continental breakfast is typically Sicilian with homemade cakes, jams, fruit from the garden and other local specialities. Nearby attractions include Mount Etna (30 minutes) and Taormina (45 minutes) and beaches are just 15 minutes by car. To really explore Sicily a hire car is recommended.
