Best Luxury Hotels in Halkidiki
Search the best hotels in Halkidiki
Halkidiki is a gorgeous region of the Greek mainland with three long peninsulas (and a beautiful lush hinterland), which dip into the Aegean Sea. The most upmarket is arguably Kassandra — this is where you’ll find the majority of Halkidiki’s most glamorous hotels and resorts, and the lion’s share of the fanciest bars and restaurants. Sithonia is probably the peninsula whose white, sandy beaches are the most perfect, so there are a couple of luxury beach resorts here too, and Athos has Mount Athos. Despite Halkidiki’s proximity to the Sporades, this region has much lower visitor numbers. This means there’s been far less development, and the accommodation is often much more affordable, even at the luxury end of the scale. Our pick of the best luxury hotels in Halkidiki includes some superb family-friendly resorts and luxurious beach hotels; take a look and get planning!
