Halkidiki is a gorgeous region of the Greek mainland with three long peninsulas (and a beautiful lush hinterland), which dip into the Aegean Sea. The most upmarket is arguably Kassandra — this is where you’ll find the majority of Halkidiki’s most glamorous hotels and resorts, and the lion’s share of the fanciest bars and restaurants.
