The aroma of orange blossom pervades the air as you step into this discreet little hideaway. Understated style, exceptionally well maintained by the French owners, this charming guesthouse makes for a calm yet homely refuge within the old town. Greeted by friendly staff proffering hot rose-scented towels, mint tea and a selection of delectable bite-sized biscuits, refreshed guests are ushered up black & white tiled steps to suites, each with seating overlooking an internal courtyard. Rooms are neutral-hued with generous beds and decorative details such as carved wardrobes, textured rugs and an eclectic collection of ever-changing art - all of which is for sale. A rooftop terrace has far reaching views over the medina and space to sit and contemplate the day. Dinners are wholesome and generous (vegetable tagine is mouth-wateringly good) and breakfast is served in one of the salon nooks. This place feels loved and looked after.
