Laura Campbell

Laura’s career as a journalist started in the mid-90s, working at Vogue for 4 years, followed by The Daily Telegraph. She went freelance with weekly columns in The Times and ES Magazine before being enticed back to a full-time post as Senior Editor during the launch of UK’s In Style. After having her children in 2002 and 2003, she returned to freelancing and has contributed to the Financial Times including How To Spend It, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, US Vogue, You Magazine, the Independent on Sunday, Livingetc, AD, Elle Decoration, Sunday Times Style and the Telegraph Magazine. Growing up in Scotland and London, she relishes the contrast of wilderness versus metropolis. She has lived in Paris and New York and is back and forth to Marrakech. A self-confessed detailist and foodie (she has edited two cookbooks), Laura enjoys discovering new places to experience and explore, preferring hotels with character and a beguiling host over impersonal corporate luxury. Extensive travels have taken her all over Europe, throughout America, SE Asia, Australia, Indonesia, Africa, India and sailing for 3 months across the Pacific, from Tahiti to Fiji. @laurajcam  Substack
