Situated just inland from Porto Zante, this hidden luxury resort is designed to blend in with the beautiful natural landscape of the island. With suites nestled between olive trees and private pools, this hotel's well-balanced blend of eco and high-end holidaymaking results in the perfect barefoot luxury experience. Suites are spacious and most have sea views; choose a swim-up suite for direct access to an outdoor heated pool from your own private terrace. For guests who prefer ultimate discretion, book the private pool suite (which does what it says on the tin), or, better yet, the grand honeymoon suite. All suites have minimalist interiors, allowing the beautiful natural setting to do the talking. For a more social holiday pop down to the hotel pool to mingle with other guests and grab a poolside cocktail from the bar. There is a great Mediterranean restaurant in the hotel offering an à la carte menu, or pick at tapas if you prefer. Make sure you book a treatment at the holistic spa to complete the experience. There are fresh newcomers, too. The minimal Zante Maris Suites – all polished concrete, rattan and wood – opened just inland from Porto Zante a couple of summers ago and this month, its sister hotel Olea All Suite Hotel joins it next door.
