- Fly to Toulouse–Blagnac Airport, 45 minutes by car from Gaillac. Buses and trains are more affordable, but tend to take longer.

- Visit in July or August for the warmest weather, but bear in mind that this is also peak season. For cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, travel in May - June. The September - October harvest season is also busy, but fascinating if you're interested in winemaking.
