The entrance to Athens Flair feels somewhat inconspicuous: a doorway down a quiet street leads to a two-flight spiral staircase - admittedly it's a trying climb with a heavy suitcase, but a small price for a building with unchanged neoclassical architecture - before you're greeted by reception. Once inside and checked in, the high ceilinged rooms feel grand but are contemporaneously refurbished. Some bathrooms feature two rain showers, one on either end, so would be perfect for couples. Try to get a suite with a terrace and mountain view, to be enjoyed while in the hot tub sitting above peaceful, quiet streets, or the same goes for the roof terrace, where a good breakfast (ordered the night before) can be taken too.
