The Best Hotels in Shibuya, Tokyo
Shibuya is a lot like Shinjuku, but with a younger crowd. It’s a great transport hub, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes, more shops, and a number of sights worth seeing, including Harajuku and some of the city’s most impressive temples. It’s also busy and neon-colourful day and night, and it looks like fun - and the same can be said for the best hotels in Shibuya.
In Shinjuku you’ll see a lot of people in suits and business dress, but in Shibuya you’ll see just as many students in uniforms as business-dressers. You’ll also see some proper Harajuku style - which is a lot of fun. Yoyogi Park is a great place to sit and watch the world go by - as well as seeing some snappy dressing, you’ll also catch street performers. And you’re close to the beautiful, peaceful Meiji Jingu Shrine. And conversely, busting Harajuku.
Shibuya is also where you’ll find the Scramble Crossing - a very popular selfie spot, the upmarket flagship stores for Ometesando and Aoyama, and the Hachiko Statue.
