De Sol is an almost ideal hotel for Santorini. Sitting at the top of the hill between east and west its sparkling fresh white atmosphere catches every breeze. It is a brand new family-friendly five star property (open year round). Standard rooms are comfortable, light and smart with small private breakfast balconies. At the top of the scale deluxe villas and suites have their own private outdoor pool, and a spa bathroom. At the centre of the property you'll find a fine free-form swimming pool (and a smaller one which is ideal for those travelling with little ones). Located in the basement is a spacious spa offering a comprehensive range of massages and therapeutic treatments. Food-wise there's a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine with both indoor dining and a terrace for those who prefer a lovely view with their dinner. Other great little features include a complimentary shuttle to and from Thira (the centre of which is around 2km away) which runs six times a day. A smart new addition to the luxury Santorini hotel scene, with great family facilities and a peaceful vibe.
