“Charming, quirky, characterful Swiss/Moroccan owned guest house overlooking the ocean with individually decorated rooms using up-cycled wood. Most rooms have balconies with sea views. Two restaurants on site with top notch cuisine. Suits couples and families as well as solo travellers.”

Hotel review

This wonderful beachside refuge has been lovingly designed by the owners over 15 years with incredible attention to detail, incorporating locally sourced and salvaged materials - driftwood, ironwork, giant tree trunks, recycled shutters (used as wind shields and a false roof in the rooftop restaurant), old pillars, poles, rope and even a fishing boat made into a bed. The result is a haven for those who appreciate rustic charm and an overall feel that’s relaxed and welcoming. All 15 rooms are different and have balconies, some overlooking the sea. Guests have the choice of eating simple freshly cooked food under the stars in the romantic upper storey open-top Favela restaurant or on the ground floor terrace where the menu centres around pasta, pizza and wok fried dishes. In cooler months there’s a cosy underground Cave Restaurant. The owners - Munga is a combination of both their names - live next door in a beautifully constructed house with the most commanding views in Taghazout while Mohamed, the manager, ensures guests are well looked after.
