Tucked away down a maze of passages between San Stefano Square and the Accademia, ten minutes from St. Mark’s Square, Palazzetto Pisani comprises 26 fine and individual bedrooms spread over two buildings and, on the second floor, large, lofty and elegant rooms in which to relax or enjoy a magnificent breakfast or dinner. A private dwelling until ten years ago, the Palazzetto retains a delightfully warm, beautiful, and slightly paint-worn air that is matched by the glory of its situation. The best rooms face south onto the Grand Canal. The spacious Pisani suite on the ground floor is especially attractive. Four windows open onto the water and from the balconies, which have been known to be inundated by an excessively high tide, one can sit in the sun and gaze at boats travelling to and from St. Mark’s.

A secluded and beautifully preserved palazzo located on the Grand Canal that offers an authentic Venetian experience. The hotel is situated in sumptuous surroundings, within striking distance of all the city’s major sights, although it’s worth staying for the Grand Canal views alone.
