Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca, Fornalutx is a picturesque community of pale sandstone buildings framed by the Sierra de Tramuntana. Nestled in the Valley of Sóller and just a short drive from the coast, it’s a lovely base for outdoorsy types as well as those simply eager to bask in the sunshine and savour long, lazy lunches, away from the crowds that flock to the island's coast. Whether you’re an active hiker or plan to kick back by the pool, you need look no further than the intimate hotels on our list of the best places to stay in Fornalutx.
