Hotel review

It might describe itself as a boutique hotel but, as the name suggests, its provenance belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, which turns out to be a dab hand at hotel management. Excellent value for money, given its location and amenities, it has impressive views over the harbour and old Government House but is only a ten-minute walk down the escalator (or a free hotel shuttle bus ride) to Central, the antique shops of Hollywood Road and the clubs and bars of Lan Kwai Fong. It has 227 pleasant, modern rooms, a terrace and outdoor pool (open April to November), a business centre and small gym.
