Staying in the centre of Mykonos requires a certain level of stamina in the summer months. A party capital, it is flooded with tourists seeking sandy beaches and late-night delights. For those seeking a more relaxed experience of this beautiful Greek island, staying just outside of the city centre is a great compromise, with beach access and amenities close by. Casa Del Mar is a cut above most resorts on this stretch of the island; private villas offer a discreet stay, with the best boasting a beautiful pool and huge terrace dining area. Perfect for groups or those travelling with children, the hotel restaurant is on hand to feed the troops after a day at the beach.
