Rosselli is the latest and most luxurious offering from AX hotels. It's a beautifully conceived townhouse conversion in the heart of Valletta. From its 17th century roots it now offers seriously stylish interiors, that just ooze with sultry glamour. Think dark hues, plenty of velvet upholstery, dramatic lounge area with small inner courtyard, and plenty of beautiful furnishings.

There are six different types of accommodation here, all vary in size and style, but the one thing they have in common is attention to detail and luxurious accessories. Whether you're looking for a cosy city bolthole or something slightly more extravagant (the executive doubles come with private spa/wellness facilities including indoor terrace, sauna and rain-shower) the Rosselli delivers. The Junior suites come with original tiled flooring, and spiral staircase leading up to the private mezzanine sleeping area, Superior rooms are more feminine with dramatic flower motif wall. Comfort rooms are no less refined, just slightly smaller in size.

But the luxury at Rosselli doesn't stop at the rooms, there's the very welcome addition of a small rooftop plunge pool, and rooftop terrace where you can enjoy drinks and a light bite. Otherwise treat yourself to the Michelin starred restaurant Under-Grain, mediterranean haute cuisine or try Grain Street for a more relaxed bistro fare.

With its superb location and drop dead gorgeous interiors, Rosselli really is the one to book if you're looking for a sophisticated stay in the heart of Valletta.
