The Saint John started life as a merchant's home and shop in the heart of Valletta, but after a complete refurb, now offers a stunning boutique property whose smart accommodation will not disappoint even the pickiest of clientele. There are twenty one rooms of various shapes and sizes from Comfort Doubles to Superior rooms, but all share the same smart design with attractive wooden furnishings, original tiled flooring and statement light fittings. For those on a budget, there's even a quad room overlooking the internal courtyard. The Saint John is a great example of how to successfully combine period and historic features, with clean modern styling.

There is no restaurant as such at The Saint John, but continental breakfast is served at the Cheeky Monkey Gastropub (you can also enjoy lunch, dinner, snacks or cocktails here), and for dining there is no shortage of great options just a short stroll away.

If you're looking for a chic stay right in the heart of Valletta, then you really cannot do much better than the Saint John with its chic rooms and great service.
