“Victorian mansion in the Surrey countryside with easy access to central London. Excellent conference facilities for business guests and a very popular wedding venue.”

Hotel review

Originally owned and built by the Bryant family (of Bryant & May matches fame), Woodlands Park was very cutting edge for its time - it was one of the first houses in the UK to have electric lights! Now part of the Handpicked Hotels group, it has been refurbished throughout and offers traditional, stylish accommodation with contemporary features. Dining options are the wood panelled Oak Room (2 AA Rosette standard), or for a more relaxed and modern feel go to Benson's Brasserie. Ideally located just outside London, it is a great spot for those looking for a break where they can access the city, yet escape to the country too. With plenty of conference and meeting facilities it also appeals to businesses and is a very popular wedding venue. For football fans, Chelsea's training ground is just down the road!
