A Spanish Colonial Revival building dating to the 1920s with a thoroughly modern twist, housing the realised vision of pioneering hotel designer Kelly Wearstler.
Rooms at this eye-catching hotel are flooded with natural light and meticulously chosen fixtures and fittings, which have come to typify the work of both the designer and the Proper brand. Sumptuous Bellino and Fili d’Oro linens, Apple TVs, and walk-in showers in the marble lashed bathrooms complete the rooms.
In the lobby, the potted palms and warm toned natural wood mix well with the plush white and handcrafted wooden furniture, giving a fresh and unpretentious atmosphere. Guests can take advantage of a fully equipped 3,000 square foot Ayurvedic spa, the result of collaboration between Proper and Surya Spa, offering personalised holistic wellness packages, as well as soothing and cleansing skin and massage treatments.
