The Rou Estate is a little piece of heaven in Northern Corfu. This gorgeous complex of fourteen beautifully restored village houses is the place to book if you're looking for a slice of elegance and style with your Greek holiday. The property was bought by a British architect and his Dutch wife, and they have lavished both their love and expertise into the estate, ensuring that the finished product will satisfy even the pickiest of punters. Each of the units are individually designed, but throughout, interiors are cool and elegant with a perfectly measured combination of period features and contemporary style. The villas range from the smallest with two bedrooms to ones that can accommodate up to 10 in five bedrooms; all are similarly kitted out and boast their own little plunge pool and outside dining area. Families will also love the stunning landscaped grounds where little paths meander linking the different areas of the property, plus there's a gorgeous infinity pool for all to use and breathtaking views reaching as far as the Albanian coast. Whilst the Rou Estate may appear on the surface to be a collection of self catering villas, this would not be telling the full story. Here you'll find all the trappings that you'd expect from a smart hotel. As well as the pool, there's the Garden Terrace Restaurant serving delicious dishes made from the freshest local ingredients, plus a pampering spa where there's a good range of treatments and massages on offer. Quite simply this is a stunning property where the best of self catering and hotel services have been joined to create something rather special!

The Rou Estate

This former rural hamlet has been meticulously restored as a villa complex, but offers most of the elements you'd find at a hotel. The views, service and seclusion make it Corfu's top retreat. It is not one for those craving the bright lights of a city setting and many guests spend their evenings at the property.
