“A truly elegant riad in a superb central location mere minutes from the Souk Cherifia. Rooms are airy and bright with sumptuous furnishings and balconies. The restaurant offers an exciting menu and there's an honesty bar, a micro-spa and hammam to boot. A real delight!”

Hotel review

Riad Adore, a charming English-owned property, is just around the corner from Dar El Bacha (the royal palace). The riad's security leads you straight from the main street to the door, so it is reassuringly impossible to get lost. Recently restored by the renowned architect Christophe Simeon this contemporary riad has ten Moroccan inspired rooms, an inviting swimming pool, hammam and spa room. Individually decorated in a contemporary Moroccan style the ten air-conditioned rooms are stylish and cosy with antique kaftans decorating the walls, Berber rugs on the floors and softly-lit lanterns. Only the best bed linen, pillows and fluffy duvets dress the huge, luxurious beds. All of the en-suite bathrooms have heated towel rails and deliciously scented bath and body products. The candlelit courtyard is a romantic spot for a drink in the evening, and during the day the bright and spacious patios are the perfect place to sit, unwind and catch up on your favourite book. The ground floor salon features traditional zellig tiling and is dotted with sofas, dining tables and an open fireplace. As well as beauty treatments (manicures, pedicures etc) there's a traditional hammam and massage room on the rooftop allowing you to retreat for a few hours and grab some me-time. Breakfast is a Moroccan feast of freshly squeezed orange juice, Moroccan pancakes, tea or coffee, yoghurt, fruit and a selection of bread and crepes with honey and jams. Complimentary still mineral water, tea and coffee is served throughout the day and à la carte dining is under the pergola on the terrace next to the fire. The warmth of the owner Stuart and smiles from the team of staff combined with the pretty interiors and roof top dining make this the perfect choice for your first trip to Marrakech.

A spacious, light-filled hotel with a contemporary finish, the Riad Adore offers original architecture, homely service, a courtyard pool and a pint-sized hammam. The best room in the house is the Victoria Suite.
