Being only 2 hours north of Glasgow and 3 hours north of Edinburgh it is a great place to escape for the weekend. What is there to do in the area? There are so many fantastic walks from right outside the hotel without the need to get back in the car. The island of Lismore is a great day out with a passenger/bike ferry running from just the bottom of the lane. It is a great place to take a bike and packed lunch for the day and really escape. Horse riding and boating are also available for the active, but for those who just wish to relax then enjoy a good book in the lounge next to the roaring fire. What kind of breakfast do you offer? Full Scottish breakfast is served together with many other superb dishes, such as freshly caught kippers, eggs benedict, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and many more to choose from. Do you offer other meals and can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Given that dining is such an important part of staying at Airds, all our rates are inclusive of dinner, We also serve morning coffee, lunch with such items as a seafood platter, and also full afternoon tea with or without the champagne! For those who wish to venture out for lunch then we recommend either Piazza (Italian) or Eeusk (Seafood) in Oban and both have fantastic views. Which are the most popular room types and why?
