Brae Restaurant - Review
"A country cottage on a back road is an unusual setting for one of Australia’s top restaurants, yet Brae (an old Scottish word for hillside) has been a regular on the World’s 50 Best list for years. Owner Dan Hunter has brought an obsession with a sense of place – learned from his time as head chef at world-renowned restaurant Mugaritz – to his first solo venture. Constantly evolving set menus centre around ingredients grown on the restaurant’s organic farm, with an olive grove, free-range chickens and bee hives on site. You can even spend the night in one of six stylish suites."

Brae - Hotel Review
"Why simply eat at one of the world’s top 100 restaurants when you can slumber there too? Bucolic Brae has swiftly established itself as a maverick of contemporary Australian cuisine. Now equipped with a string of luxury suites, bed is simply a few spirited steps from your coveted table."

The World's Best Restaurants-with-Rooms for 2020
"An hour-and-a half from Melbourne and surrounded by rows of perfectly neat plots of kohlrabi and carrots, this off-grid building is unassuming from the outside. Inside, it has all the telltale signs of a restaurant that’s consistently ranked among the best in the country... Afterwards, it’s just a short waddle to the large timber- and steel-clad bedrooms. With only six on the property, space is not an issue but a booking might be. Each was designed with a stripped-back mix of wood and exposed brick, and feels very much like a relaxing hangout in which to reflect on the kitchen fireworks."
