“A peaceful yet colourful resting place within the medina just a short stroll from the Kasbah and popular local restaurants. Rooms are decorated with rich hues and numerous local artefacts. A sunny terrace is the perfect spot to indulge in breakfast before setting out to explore the city.”

Hotel review

Vibrant colour is a big theme in this riad - from the mosaic pillars flanking the main door and collection of Fatima hands as soon as you enter to the petal-strewn fountain in the courtyard and brightly hued cushions, rugs, paintings and decorations throughout. You will be greeted by two resident cats. Rooms are bijou with firm mattresses and soft pillows, most with ensuite showers, although some have separate bathrooms. The most desirable room is at the top of the building with its own private, gated terrace, double sun lounger and far reaching views over port and city. Tables are set up for breakfast among potted geraniums and lemon trees on the main intimately communal terrace. This is a highlight and guests won’t go hungry as heaps of strawberries, olives, fresh cheese and puréed apple along with French toast, pastries, bread and cake are piled onto the tiny red tables.
