Hotel Review
Unlike many riads, Riad Cocoon is reachable by taxi and is then just a few steps hidden away in a side street; there's no need to get a donkey or a tuk-tuk. Small and perfectly formed with just five rooms this little oasis is a breath of fresh air when it comes to riads in Marrakech - luxurious and affordable is the philosophy here. French owner Corinne is delightful and is on-site welcoming guests, she'll also show you the nearby sights of the refurbished medina to settle you in. The rooms are cute and stylish with traditional tadelakt en-suite bathrooms. Feast on Moroccan pancakes, fresh fruit and a frothy cappuccino on the roof terrace in the morning before heading to the souks which are just a hop and a skip away. Before you leave book in a private hammam, one of the best in the Medina. Affordable luxury in the heart of the Medina.

See What They Say
Why do people love staying in your hotel? Because it’s a Cocoon ;-). Guest usually say they enjoy the peaceful ambience and the way the Cocoon’s team looks after them.
What is there to do in the area or on-site? Listening to exclusive playlists, sunbathing, chilling, reading books from our library, enjoying a drink or a snack, dining. Experiencing our traditional Hamamm and enjoying the traditional scrub with black soap followed by an Oriental relaxing massage with Argan oil is a favourite with our guests. Riad Cocoon is a 5 minute walk from the medina and souks.
What kind of breakfast do you offer? Our Moroccan Breakfast is prepared and served with special attention and care, the exquisite orange juice is always freshly squeezed, pancakes are served with honey from the nearby Atlas Mountains and the country eggs can be prepared just as you love them...
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We offer lunch, snacks and dinners. Most of our guests prefer to eat in the Riad on their first night in order to acclimatise themselves. And when they wish to go to a restaurant, we are happy to book them on their behalf. Our suggestions for the restaurants are only for the ones we have been to and of course, enjoyed ourselves. Dar Marjana is one of the best experiences for Moroccan food.
Which is your most popular room, and why? Riad Cocoon features five bedrooms, each one with its own personality. The White Album Room is probably our most popular room followed by The Nirvana Suite and Exclusive Terrace. In the first one, you sense the calm of a cameo in shades of white. It’s a source of zen and optimism. In the second one, you enjoy the comfort of a suite with an exclusive terrace and a breathtaking view at dusk and dawn.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? We are happy to welcome children from the age of 12 years old.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? At Riad Cocoon, we believe hospitality is about caring, listening, and being passionate. We would be very happy to share with The Hotel Guru Readers our love for Marrakech by offering them the best personalised experience.
