- La Beursaudière, a rustic spot with an atmospheric all-day restaurant, is another great value option. You may think that waitresses in traditional dress and bedrooms themed on local crafts – from the simple Lavandière (washerwoman) to the grander Vigneron (wine grower) – is not for you, but we found La Beursaudière delightful rather than contrived: a thoughtful, charming, family-run concern in lovely Burgundian buildings.
For Families
- Chez Camille is set in the centre of Arnay and is a fine example of a French provincial hotel. Rooms are simple, traditional and characterful with the family suites offering plenty of space for those with kids. However, it’s the dining room, fashioned in a conservatory-style from a covered courtyard, that is the heart of the hotel where the chef-owners serve up classic French dishes.
