- The Punch Bowl Inn in the pretty village of Low Row, 30 minutes drive from Georgian Richmond, is a charming 17th century coaching inn with 11 stylish rooms and fantastic views of the Yorkshire Dales.

- The Wensleydale Heifer, located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park between Leyburn and Hawes, is a unique property with an award-winning contemporary restaurant, plus a less formal fish bar, and 14 unusually themed bedrooms. For a coaching inn
- Shibden Mill Inn is a traditional British Inn with some lovely original features, a lively restaurant and a cosy bar. There are 11 bright, airy bedrooms and just outside is some breathtaking scenery.
- The Charles Bathurst Inn is a converted 18th century inn with 19 light, modern rooms and a restaurant serving hearty British fare in cosy surrounds. The Dales location is spectacular and you’re surrounded by walking trails and pretty market towns.

- Whitby’s The White Horse and Griffin is a 17th century coaching inn tucked in just behind the abbey. There are ten quirkily shaped rooms with a surprisingly fresh finish, plus a bistro menu and a guest list which has included Charles Dickens and Captain James Cook.
For a city break
- Lamb and Lion Inn is an utterly charming inn offering a traditional stay in the heart of historic York. - Guy Fawkes Inn is another atmospheric pub-with-rooms in the heart of York, opposite York Minster and walking distance to the sights. - The Plough at Scalby is a cosy stay in an unbeatable location nestled between a beautiful stretch of coast and the North York Moors National Park.
