- The Angel Inn is a 15th Century drovers' inn converted in the 1950s to a popular pub. Oak beams and chic interiors make the comfortable rooms ooze character (two rooms are dog friendly and beds and bowls can be provided). - The Foresters Arms is a delightful village hostelry brought back to life by the community and set just minutes from the Dale Cycle Route. Heart British fare is served in the pub along with a choice selection of ales. A laid-back rural escape. Small dogs are welcome in all except the king room.
For a romantic escape
- Stow House is a large, country vicarage with a cool, modern makeover offering uncluttered, light-filled rooms and glorious views over Wensleydale. Large rooms feature in-room roll top baths (and all but two of them are dog friendly) and the chic bar serves some superb cocktails.
For a market town stay
