Amy spent her twenties in London writing on travel, food and culture for Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist, The Daily Express, Good Housekeeping and more. Five years as Online Editor at Comedy Central UK led her to become Senior Social Media manager at MTV UK, before going freelance to live out of a suitcase and follow stories (these days she interviews more star chefs and hoteliers than musicians and actors). Recent projects include snowshoeing between Japan’s ski resorts, gorilla tracking in the forests of Uganda, Rwanda and the Congo Basin, a foodie tour across British Columbia, a grunge music pilgrimage to Seattle, a road trip around Southern India, and mushroom foraging by moonlight in Finland’s carbon sink bogs.
